L is 4 Love: Z's Mentoring Services
Mentoring and guidance for anyone who feels different
We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.
– 1 John 3:16
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
– Acts 20:34 (NLT
Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.. Ephesians 5;1, 2. Love is everything! But there are people who have not felt love, I think it’s sad that something so simple can seem like its the hardest feeling to get, sometimes it is just because you are different. But we all have differences so why does that stop us from sharing love with everyone?
When days get hard what do you do to cope? For me reading a verse from the Bible always helps me. After having some time in his word helps me realize that everything I have and I should be thankful for everything; even the hard times. If everything was easy we would never get stronger! This verse was in my daily devotional it was just the thing I needed. ”Hebrews 12; 3, Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
“One of the hardest things about trials is the uncertainty about how long they will last. Usually, you can’t predict or control the unpleasant circumstances. You just have to live with them indefinitely. At times you may feel as if you can endure no more, but you can always reach out to Me for help. As you cling to Me moment by moment, I enable you to persevere. This produces in you not only endurance but also a harvest of righteousness and peace.” -Jesus Lives by Sarah Young, p. 72-73
