””For whatever reason, loving someone gives you purpose.
It fills you with hope, joy and a sense of optimism. But when
that person leaves you; abandons your love without warning,
what do you do ? You are left in love, alone and desperate
to feel that sense of belonging and worth again.””

Happiness is always a by-product.  It is probably a matter of temperament, and for anything I know it may be glandular.  But it is not something that can be demanded from life, and if you are not happy you had better stop worrying about it and see what treasures you can pluck from your own brand of unhappiness.

Advice from Journey of The Peaceful Warrior

To really help people, you first need to understand them- but first understand yourself; prepare yourself; develop the clarity, the courage and the sensitivity to exert the right leverage, in the right place, at the right time. Then your actions will have power. -Sacred Journey of The Peaceful Warrior By: Dan Millman

Something to work toward.

What helps.

I don’t often write about faith;  but this morning as I was having time with God, I realized how much better life is when we have a relationship with the Lord can get you through anything life gives us. Now I know that everyone believes in the Lord,  so if you don’t it’s ok.  But I would like to start writing more on this subject, because it truly helps when life gets us down. ”PASLM;18;29,  1  For He will give His angels orders concerning you,to protect you in all your ways.12 They will support you with  their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.”

putting ourselves first sometimes.

”If you’re struggling, you deserve to make self-care a priority. Whether that means lying in bed all day, eating comfort food, putting off homework, crying, sleeping, rescheduling plans, finding an escape through a good book, watching your favorite tv show, or doing nothing at all — give yourself permission to put your healing first. Quiet the voice telling you to do more and be more, and today, whatever you do, let it be enough. Feel your feelings, breathe, and be gentle with yourself. Acknowledge that you’re doing the best you can to cope and survive. And trust that during this time of struggle, it’s enough.” — Daniell Koepke The book: www.SimpleReminders.info

In life we are too busy trying to make everyone else happy and we could always take care for ourselves.   But we need to remember that helping others we first need to love who we are.

great words to live by.

Our opportunity is always to make the choice for Joy. To see the world with new eyes – open eyes – loving eyes. To choose compassion and understanding -for ourselves, our family, our friends, our community, for the whole world.

Mother Teresa Quote

Before God we are all poor. We are all handicapped in one way or another. Sometimes it can be seen on the outside, sometimes it is in the inside. The healthy person may be closer to dying or even more dead than the person who is dying. They might be spiritually dead, only it does not show. -Mother Teresa

Today’s quote

“When we are deeply attached to someone, we start thinking about them all the time… there’s nothing more important to us then to be with them or to dream about them all the time… we wait for their messages and their calls as soon as they leave us… we always think of ways to make them happy… we want them to be with us in every way… physically, mentally and spiritually…….Neena Gupta”
